- 1Load-calculated sizing, not a guess off square footage
- 2High-efficiency systems built for Florida humidity
- 3Clean install — line sets, drains, and ducts done right
Most comfort problems in a new system trace back to the install, not the equipment. The two things that decide whether a Jacksonville home feels right are correct sizing and humidity control. An oversized unit — the most common mistake here — cools the air fast, shuts off, and never runs long enough to wring the moisture out. You end up with a house that is 72 degrees and clammy. We size to an actual load calculation that accounts for your home's square footage, insulation, windows, and orientation, so the system runs long enough to dehumidify.
We walk you through efficiency honestly. A higher-SEER2 system costs more up front and saves on a power bill that runs all summer here — but there is a point where the payback period outlasts how long you plan to stay in the house. We will tell you where that line is for your situation instead of pushing the top-of-catalog unit on everyone.
The install itself is the part nobody sees and everybody feels: a properly brazed line set, a condensate drain that will not clog in our humidity, a level pad, and ductwork that is actually sealed to the new air handler. We do that part right because it is the part that fails early when it is rushed.
